Dr. Kersey Wahlquist
Dr. Kersey Wahlquist grew up in Las Vegas, Nevada and has wanted to be a veterinarian from an early age when she begged her parents for a cat to add to their dogs, hedgehog, fish, and desert tortoise. She attended the University of Nevada, Reno for undergraduate and Colorado State University for her doctorate in veterinary medicine. She graduated in 2017 and moved back home to Las Vegas where she worked in an emergency hospital for a few years. She loved northern Colorado and decided to move back in 2021.
She still has a special interest in emergency and critical care medicine, as well as internal medicine. Dr. Wahlquist has a great love of cats and is AAFP feline-friendly practitioner certified.
Outside of work, she has been weight lifting for almost 20 years with the occasional cardio. She lives with her husband, two orange cats (Tigger and Lio), and golden retriever (Cash). She enjoys being able to grow plants here in Colorado. Her backyard is lovingly called the "fairy garden" with her flowers, herbs and trees!
